Joe Ghartey is the founder of KNG Technologies, a Ghana based impact company that builds web and mobile apps for international clients. Prior to founding KNG Technologies, Joe was a Managing Director at the global investment bank JP Morgan, and the Global head of Investor sales. During his 13 years at JP Morgan, Joe also acted as the Head of Equity Derivatives for the Americas.
Joe Ghartey founded the educational non-profit Music Loves Math in 2010. It operates educational facilities and programs in Accra and Cape Coast Ghana. It provides free supplemental education in English Math and Computer Science. It also operates computer labs and libraries for over 1,000 children.
Joe graduated with honors form Harvard University in 1995 with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics. He is also an award winning music producer and writer. His work has been nominated for 8 awards in the Ghana Music Awards and Ghana Music video awards and won 2. He also wrote a song for Universal Europe artists Junge Junge, that has over 35 million streams.
